The New Mexico Department of Wildlife is surveying hunters to better understand their opinions, attitudes and values related to hunting and management of various big game species in New Mexico.

These surveys provide hunters with an opportunity to share feedback on hunting opportunities, access, herd conditions, and management strategies. Results from these surveys will be used in conjunction with biological and harvest data to inform Department biologists when making recommendations for consideration by the State Game Commission.
