MISSION STATEMENT
To promote good fellowship among all who love the outdoors and hunting.
To promote conservation of the world’s renewable wildlife resources, recognizing hunting as one of the many management tools.
To educate youth, sportsmen, and the public in conservation of our wildlife and our forest, which is our natural heritage.
To share our knowledge and hunting experiences among all our membership.
To operate the association as a non-profit organization, consistent with its charitable purposes, while providing enjoyment for our members. Always with the goal of helping to conserve the animals that we love to hunt today, for those who will come to love the sport tomorrow.

No matter what, where, or how you hunt, SCI defends your freedom to do it as we stand First for Hunters.
Our staff, partner organizations, and chapter networks internationally are involved in advocacy on local and global hunting issues, such as opposing international hunting import bans, opposing firearms restrictions, supporting rural areas and community leadership, and more.
SCI is active in Africa, Canada, and European Institutions – among them the European Council, European Parliament, and European Commission. In addition, SCI and SCIF lead global organizations and conferences, such as CITES and SCIF’s African Wildlife Consultative Forum, on behalf of hunters and communities advocating for the important role of sustainable use of wildlife in conservation.
Our team is the only one among hunting rights organizations that defends all hunters for all species from around the world while amplifying local voices and supporting sustainable stewardship of wildlife.
