FOUR CORNERS SCI ANNOUNCES LEGACY PROJECT AWARD RECIPIENT

Ignacio, Colo- Four Corners Safari Club International (SCI) is pleased to announce that Elliot Baird, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., is the 2025 Legacy Project recipient.

“We are thrilled to continue to assist in educating new hunters in our community,” said Jason Deweese, Four Corners SCI President.

Baird is active in his private school. He also has a passion for cooking and sewing. While he isn’t learning new skills, he is out on the water fishing.

Baird will be outfitted head to toe from gear and accessories. He will get to experience a full private range day as well as a fully guided hunt with Hodiak Outfitters. After the hunt, he will receive education on how to process the meat and how to cook it at home.

About the Legacy Project: Four Corners SCI, along with the support of Colorado Parks & Wildlife, Gallegos Ranches, Hodiak Outfitters, MAC Outdoors, and Legit Outdoors Photography is pleased to continue our support of the Legacy Project. This program helps youth become involved in conservation, hunting, and education. The idea is to encourage youngsters to get outdoors, enjoy it, and then pass it on to others, thus establishing a legacy.

Each year at our annual banquet/fundraiser we present one local youth with a new hunting firearm, gear for the hunt, a range day with a certified firearms instructor, and a guided big game hunt.
