Approaching Deadlines:

  • March 13 — Applications and paperwork for mobility-impaired (MI) and military/veteran hunts are due. If you are currently verified as a resident veteran in the Department’s system, you do not need to resubmit your DD-214 as long as you remain a resident of New Mexico. We cannot guarantee that MI/military/veteran paperwork will be processed by the draw application deadline if received after this date.
  • March 18 — Applications for big-game species are due before 5 p.m. MDT. Click here to apply! For more tips regarding the draw process, check out the latest episode of the New Mexico Wildlife Podcast here or on your favorite podcast platform.
  • March 18 — Harvest reports for deer, elk, pronghorn and turkey license holders are due by midnight with an $8 late fee. Failure to report for these species by this date will result in rejection of all draw applications. Submit your harvest report here.
  • April 7 — Harvest reports for Barbary sheep, ibex, javelina and oryx license holders are due by midnight; reports filed after this date will be charged an $8 late fee. Failure to report for these species by this date will result in rejection of all draw applications. Submit your harvest report here.
