Announcing the Merger of SCI and the Outdoor Tomorrow Foundation
On behalf of the Outdoor Tomorrow Foundation (OTF) and Safari Club International (SCI), we are proud to share our news about the future of outdoor education and youth conservation leadership in the United States. OTF and SCI bring together two mission-driven organizations that believes deeply in protecting our outdoor heritage by educating, equipping, and inspiring the next generation of hunters, anglers, and conservationists.

For more than 40 years, OTF has introduced millions of students to the outdoors through its Outdoor Adventures curriculum taught in thousands of schools nationwide, with many more students and districts currently on the waiting list to participate. This demand speaks to the strength of OTF’s programs and the growing national need for hands-on outdoor education. Through this merger, these programs will continue to grow and impact thousands of youth who will ensure the future of the outdoors.
SCI’s global mission is to protect the freedom to hunt and promote wildlife conservation worldwide so that future generations have access to the outdoors. It is their goal to keep alive the traditions and heritage we cherish most. SCI is the only organization fighting on a global scale to defend the rights and opportunities that make outdoor experiences possible.
In joining forces, we are building a pathway from classroom to field by giving young people access, mentorship, curriculum, and the experiences that foster a lifelong connection to wildlife and the outdoors. Through this merger OTF gains the advocacy power, access to SCI’s chapter network, and the conservation leadership needed to reach thousands more students. With SCI’s support, we will grow outdoor education into more classrooms, expand training, and establish leadership opportunities for students across the United States.
To the OTF members, donors, teachers, volunteers, and students, thank you. Your dedication built a strong foundation for youth outdoor education, and we are looking forward to a continued partnership well into the future that ensures a lasting legacy.
Together OTF and SCI ensures that future generations experience the outdoors, is equipped to protect it, and ensure our hunting and conservation heritage lives on.
