Notice of Proposed Rule-Making: Fisheries Rule and Hunting and Fishing Manner and Method of Taking Rule, including possession of game animal parts

The Department is providing this notice of proposed rule-making to members of the public who have requested to receive agency announcements, as well as those who have participated in the rule-making process.

A rule-making hearing, open to the public, is scheduled for Nov. 7 at the State Game Commission meeting in Los Alamos. The purpose of this rule-making hearing is to consider action as appropriate on the following; 1) proposed changes to the Fisheries Rule; 2) proposed changes to portions of the Hunting and Fishing Manner and Method of Taking Rule pertaining to fishing; and 3) portions of the Hunting and Fishing Manner and Method of Taking Rule pertaining to the possession of game animal parts. Comments on the proposed changes to the Fisheries Rule and portions of the Hunting and Fishing Manner and Method of Taking Rule pertaining to fishing can be provided by mail: New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, Attn: Fisheries Rule Development, 1 Wildlife Way, Santa Fe, NM 87507, or by email at DGF-FisheriesRule@dgf.nm.gov.

Comments on the proposed changes to the Hunting and Fishing Manner and Method of Taking Rule pertaining to the possession of game animal parts can be provided by mail: New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, Attn: Non-Resident Shed Hunter License, 1 Wildlife Way, Santa Fe, NM 87507, or by email at DGF-ShedHunter@dgf.nm.gov.
