New Mexico Department of Game and Fish
Sales of over-the-counter fishing and hunting licenses for the 2024-2025 license year are underway. Anglers will need a 2024-2025 fishing license beginning April 1. If you purchased a Game-Hunting or Game-Hunting and Fishing license through the 2024-2025 draw application, it is now available in your account under “My Purchases.”
Get your spring turkey licenses. Youth turkey season: April 12-14. General turkey season: April 15 -May 15
The bag limit for turkey hunts is two bearded turkeys, except in permitted areas. The beard and a patch of feathers surrounding the beard must remain on the bird until it is delivered to the place where it will be eaten or placed in final storage.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife
The 2024-2025 fishing license is valid from March 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025. Regulations and pricing for annual, daily, and multi-day fishing licenses are in the 2024 Colorado Fishing Brochure (Pesca en Colorado (En Español). For individuals ages 18 through 64, an $12.15 Habitat Stamp is required with the first license purchase for the year. Youth under age 16 can fish with one rod for free, and CPW provides opportunities throughout the season to learn how to fish.
Hunters hoping to draw a big game license in Colorado in 2024 are urged to review the changes in license requirements and fees in the 2024 Colorado Big Game brochure prior to the March 1 opening of the primary draw application period (March 1 – April 2 at 8 p.m. MT).
