At Four Corners SCI we work closely with the New Mexico and Colorado outfitters associations and just received good news for NM non-resident sheep hunters. The New Mexico Council of Outfitters and Guides has shared this news.
“The New Mexico Attorney General’s office has released their opinion regarding the process of allocating Bighorn Sheep permits through the Big Game Draw. “Based on our examination of the relevant constitutional, statutory and case law authorities, as well as the information available to us at this time, the short answer is yes”.
“The New Mexico Council of Outfitters and Guides is beyond grateful to the AG’s office for their swift and detailed response in support of the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish process!”
