Each year at our annual banquet/fundraiser we present a young community member with a new hunting firearm, gear for the hunt, a range day with a certified firearms instructor, and a guided hunt.

The award winner will will receive an education on hunting, conservation and safety in the outdoors. They will be connected with a group of young hunters who share similar passions and a year membership to Young Guns of SCI.

We’re seeking nominations/ applications for any student or community member between the age of 18-25, who lives in the Four Corners area and wants to learn to hunt. The applicant can be from anywhere but must reside in the Four Corners area. Download the nomination form for additional details.

Turn in your nomination by January 31st, annually to have it considered by the board. The awards committee will select those who best fit the criteria and bring those to the Board of Directors who will make a final decision on the recipient. The winner of the Collegiate Mentor Program award will be announced the night of the Four Corners Chapter SCI banquet/fundraiser event.
