Legacy Project – Four Corners Chapter SCI

Four Corners SCI, along with with the support of Gallegos Ranches, Hodiak Outfitters, MAC Outdoors, and Mossy Oak, is pleased to continue our support of the Legacy Project. This program helps youth become involved in conservation, hunting, and education. The idea is to encourage youngsters to get outdoors, enjoy it, and then pass it on to others, thus establishing a legacy.

Each year at our annual banquet/fundraiser we present one local youth with a new hunting firearm, gear for the hunt, a range day with a certified firearms instructor, and a guided big game hunt.

We’re seeking nominations of boys or girls, who live in the Four Corners area, want to hunt but need a mentor and a good start. If you know of and would like to nominate a local youth, please send a short letter describing why the youngster deserves the award.

Turn in your nomination by January 31st, annually to have it considered by the board. The awards committee will select those who best fit the criteria and bring those to the Board of Directors who will make a final decision on the recipient. The winner of the Legacy award will be announced the night of the Four Corners Chapter SCI banquet/fundraiser event.
