2018 Hunt Preview


Plains Game Hunt – Limpopo, South Africa

Big Game Hunt Africa – This is a 10-day plains game safari for 2 hunters. The hunt includes trophy fees for your choice of 2 species per hunter. Each hunter has their choice of 2 species from the following: 1 Zebra or Blue Wildebeest and 1 Impala, Blesbuck, or Warthog.

This exclusive safari is available for scheduling during the open dates of March through November 2018.

Additional Plains Game and Dangerous Game species may be added as per current price list prepared at a reduced rate exclusively for the Four Corners SCI Banquet.

Additional hunters are welcome and encouraged at the reduced rate of $400 USD per day and additional observers at the reduced rate of $250 USD per day.


Licensed professional hunter, tracker, skinner, camp staff, and daily laundry service. Guests will enjoy delectable cuisine prepared in traditional South African fashion, wild game dishes, and beverages including fine South African wines, local beers, and liquor. Accommodations include luxurious native thatched five-star chalets with ensuite baths.

Not included:

  • Airfare to and from Johannesburg International Airport in South Africa.
  • Round-trip transportation from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to Limcroma Safaris private game lodge at the rate of $600 USD per group.
  • Any pre or post safari accommodations.
  • Tips and gratuities for the Professional Hunter, tracker/skinner, and camp staff are appreciated.

Youth Hog Hunt – Wimberley, Texas

Hog Hunt – This hunt will be taken by 4-6 youth hunters who will be semi-guided on the adventure. The trip includes one adult per 2 kids on this 1-day, 2-night hunting trip.

The trip will be scheduled by the bid-winner to be taken during June or July 2018. Additional youth hunters may be added at $500 USD per hunter. Additional adults may be added at $300 USD per adult.


Guide fees. Hunting at the 150-year-old Historic Calhoun Working Cattle Ranch. 2 days professionally guided hunting. 2 nights lodging in luxurious teepees and a 100-year-old fully restored cabin. Meals prepared with exotics and whitetail.


Any accommodations needed before and after the hunting dates. Travel to and from Wimberly, Texas. Taxidermy, and any shipping fees.

Wild Pig Hunt

This is a hunt is for three hunters to use their method of choice in pursuit of free-ranging wild pigs. They’ll be accompanied by one guide per hunter on a three-day hunt.

The trip dates are to be scheduled by the bid-winner to be taken between December of 2018 and January of 2019.

Guide fees, all meals, and lodging are included.

Not Included:
Travel to and from Cloverdale, California. License fees of $164.16 per hunter and tags at $74.60 per hunter. Field preparation, caping, skinning, salting, taxidermy, packing, and shipping.


Roe Deer – Serbia

Roebuck Hunt – This hunt is typical for this part of Europe. It will be taken by 2 hunters or 1 hunter and 1 observer. Hunt is in cultivated fields, searching by offroad vehicles and shooting on foot. Normally you can see 50-100 animals by exit depending on the height of vegetation and weather conditions.


6 nights, 3 hunting days, 2 tourism days, 1 representative roe deer up to 350 gr., assistance for settlement of customs formalities at Belgrade airport in arrival and departure, use of 4×4 vehicle during the stay (2 hunters with one vehicle), lodging and full board in 3-4*** hotels or hunting lodges, assistance of professional hunter and local gamekeepers, field preparation of trophies.


Airfare tickets, rent a rifle with ammo $150 USD for hunt, VAT 20% (be added on donation value and total bill), Serbian hunting licence $140 USD, official measurement $35 USD per trophy, cape $100 USD, single 4×4 vehicle for hunt $200 USD per day, packing, export documentation and sending of trophies, tips, drinks and gratuities.


Extra hunter for this hunt $4100 USD, extra observer for this hunt $2500 USD. Extra hunting day $550 USD, extra observer day $350 USD.

Trophy fees for additional animals:

Roe deer up to gold medal $1500 USD, package of 5 roe deers up to gold medal is $4500 USD, Russian wild boar without size limit $1500 USD, Mouflon sheep without size limit $3550 USD, Racka sheep $3450 USD, Feral goat $2450 USD, Jackal $1100 USD, Wild cat $1850 USD, Badger $950 USD, Wild turkey $800 USD.

Season: April 15 – September 30, best period April 15 – May 31 and July 25 – August 10 (breeding season)

  • Day 1: Reception at the airport Belgrade, transfer to hotel, dinner, and overnight.
  • Day 2-4: Hunting days (morning hunt from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM, evening hunt from 4:00 PM – 21:00 PM, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
  • Day 5: After breakfast transfer to Novi Sad (if previously not accommodated in Novi Sad), arrival at the hotel and departure for a tour of several Orthodox monasteries on Fruska Gora, lunch on the way. Arrival to Novi Sad in the afternoon and visit of the city and Petrovaradin fortress. Diner in some local restaurant or in a hotel, overnight.
  • Day 6. After breakfast transfer to Belgrade, visit Kalemegdan fortress with a military museum, orthodox Temple of Saint Sava and tour of the city, lunch in one of the famous restaurants in Belgrade, return in Novi Sad in the afternoon and free time, dinner and overnight.
  • Day 7. Transfer to the airport for departure.

Big Game Safari for One Hunter and One Non-Hunter – Limpopo, South Africa

Mbogo Safaris invites one hunter to use the method of take of his choosing and to bring one non-hunter to hunt for five days. The hunter will be accompanied by one guide. The auction bid winner will receive $1000 credit toward trophy fees.

The trip dates are to be scheduled by the bid-winner for 2018 or 2019. Guide fees, field preparation, caping, skinning, salting, all meals, and 4-star lodging is included. Additional hunters may be added at $450 USD per hunter per day. Additional non-hunters may be added at $250 USD per non-hunter per day.

Required fees, which are not included, are: firearms permit if you bring your own rifle (rentals are available). Also not included: travel to O R Tambo, Johannesburg, personal items, excursions, trophy fees, taxidermy fees, shipping, and import fees.

Mbogo Safari


Pick up and drop off at the airport. All accommodations. All meals and local drinks. PH, tracker, and skinner. Room cleaning service every day. Laundry service every second day. Field prep of trophies (skinning and salt). Delivery of trophies to taxidermist. Rifle use if you don’t want to bring your own. (You only replace the box of ammo.) 5 full hunting days for 1 hunter and 1 observer. (1 day traveling to camp, 5 full hunting days and one day traveling to the airport.)

No back to back safaris are allowed. Hunter’s trophy credits are not transferable. Hunts are not transferable unless arranged with the outfitter. Hunts are valid for the year in which they are bought or the year following. If a hunt is arranged for the following year, the Mbogo price list is subject to change. Taxidermy and shipping are not included.

Youth Merriam’s Turkey Hunt

Colorado Turkey Hunt – This hunt may be purchased by anyone but is to be taken by two youth hunters who will hunt on the Dancing Pines Ranch. The hunts may be taken in the spring or fall of 2018.


1 guide to 1 hunter.
